NotesThe pub opened on 16 February 1967. Some years later, after a change of brewery ownership, its name was changed to the Springfield. Later this was abandoned and the pubs name reverted to the Arkle. Brewery owner 1970, Camerons. December 2019 the windows and doors boarded up. December 2022 wooden fencing erected around the the whole site but the building still intact and boarded up
